Alexander Hackett - Chief Development Officer

With business experience spanning continents, Alexander Hackett brings a wealth of international business experience to the The Leaders of Tomorrow Association.

Alexander has pursued a degree in Economics with a Specialization in Finance at Western University. He has also served as the Chief Business Development Officer for Vertico Farms- a successful Vertical Farming company based in Toronto with products now featured in 3 Michelin Star restaurants and 10 Michelin Guide restaurants across Toronto. Alexander also has experience in the Public Relations sector as well as many other business sectors in the United States and Middle East.

Alexander has cultivated his expertise in the intricate nuances of business operations across diverse cultures. He has navigated dynamic landscapes honing his skills in strategic planning, negotiations, and market analysis.

Alexander integrates his global perspective when forging partnerships, expanding networks, or devising innovative solutions, his multifaceted background enriches every endeavor. With a passion for fostering connections and driving growth, Alexander brings these skills and background to serve as The LOTA’s Chief Development Officer.

Daniel Kim - COO

Daniel is a strategic leader profoundly impacting Toronto’s business landscape through his active roles across the non-profit, technology, and real estate sectors. As COO at the Leaders of Tomorrow Association, Daniel is instrumental in shaping initiatives that transform young professionals into future business leaders. His leadership enhances organizational effectiveness and expands the reach of the association’s programs, fostering an environment rich in networking, leadership, and skill development.

Educated at Korea University in Business Administration and complemented by a tenure at the South Korean President’s Office, Daniel’s professional journey is now distinguished by his status among the leading real estate professionals in Canada. Daniel’s international experience spans across the globe, having previously contributed to facilitating global dialogues at the G20 Summit, Nuclear Security Summit, and the UN General Assembly.

Andrew Kim - CTO

Andrew Kim, CTO at Connex Telecommunications Inc., brings a rich legacy of IT leadership from his previous roles. At Connex, since February 2020, he previously excelled as the Director of Client Engagement Services, mastering the deployment of complex cloud solutions and enhancing customer service technologies. His tenure at Bell Canada and IBM involved significant IT projects, focusing on integration and system optimization. His deep experience in managing technology strategies and vendor relationships positions him to lead Connex's technological advancements effectively, aligning with the company’s strategic goals for growth and innovation.

David Chau - CFO

David is a seasoned financial expert and accomplished real estate developer in the Greater Toronto Area. With a robust background in both finance and property development, David brings a unique blend of financial acumen and industry knowledge to his role as Chief Financial Officer. David's experience in real estate development in the GTA has equipped him with a deep understanding of the local market dynamics and economic trends.
